The Meadow

A significant segment of the property contains an overgrown hay meadow that is defined on the original survey certificate. Many years ago as a result of dams developed on the Winnipeg River System conditions developed causing the Meadow to flood, however, the potential development of a pasture land remains with the simple building of a shot dam that can double as lane access to the property lakeshore sites.

Beer Lake Access

Access to Beer Lake is achieved by driving north of Kenora / Keewatin Ontario on Highway 96 towards Minaki. At approximately 10 kilometers turn right on paved, Muriel Lake Road and continue for approximately 10 more kilometers. Turn right on Sunpoint Road. Continue down Sunpoint Road for approximately 7.5 kilometers to the only driveway on the right which is the entrance to Beer Lake Estate Property.

The Sunpoint road is an all-season well maintained solid gravel road that was built and is maintained by The Sunpoint Cottage Owners Association whose properties are located at the 13-kilometer mark of Sunpoint Road. The road crosses a minor segment of the Beer Lake property and as a result, an easement agreement exists which allows for the owners of the Beer Lake free access to the road with no requirement of any usage or maintenance fee.
